Registration for domestic Hajj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia is closed

The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the end of the domestic pilgrim registration window, stressing that individuals who have never done the Hajj are given priority.

The ministry claimed in a news release that the number of applications for Hajj from within Saudi Arabia has surpassed 390,000, and that candidates would be chosen through a computerized lottery.

Domestic pilgrims, whether residents or citizens, who seek to register for Hajj from domestic pilgrims must be under the age of 65, according to the ministry.
