HEROIC LOCAL HONORED FOR AIDING INJURED IN 19-INJURY HU …

A resident of the UAE has won praise for saving injured persons from a fire that started in a structure in Abu Dhabi.
Iman Al Safaqsi was hurt during the procedure and was later admitted to an Abu Dhabi hospital.
She was visited at the hospital by the chairman of the UAE’s National Emergency, Crisis, and Disasters Management Authority.
According to NCEMA, the chairman, Ali Saeed Al Neyadi, wished her “a rapid recovery and good health, complimenting her brave effort in aiding the injured.”
Al Neyadi added that such acts of bravery and empathy are strongly ingrained in UAE society. They “are manifested in its members during various conditions, particularly sufferings,” he continued.
The authorities also came up with the hashtag “UAE is proud of Iman” for her.
A 30-story building in the Al Zahia neighborhood caught fire, injuring 19 people. The victims have been transported to hospitals for treatment, and the injuries range from minor to moderate.
